India is a federal republic, which is based on the premise that linguistic rights will be respected. Which is why many states have joined India. Linguistic states are a natural outcome from it. If India doesn't want to provide linguistic state freedom, hell with India. Many of the linguistic states are as big as Germany, or Japan, or France, or Spain each of which are nations. Linguistic states are the only progressive states of India, developing at faster rate. Rest are BIMARU, similar to Africa.
