RE:India, Pakistan and Kashmir.
by VENURAJA Bowenpalle on Apr 06, 2008 10:29 AM

Kashmir problem of Pakistan has been very artificial. The real intention of Paki politicians (if at all there exists any power with politicians)and the army (which is the real enemy of Pakistan's democracy) has been that they want a disentegration of India. That is what they want. If you think once Kasmir is given on a platter to Pakistan , the problem would be solved , you are for sure living in a fools paradise.
Jammu and Kashmir consists of three distinct parts (I went to KASHMIR) the Jammu part mostly consists of Hindus at bout 65% and sikhs and christians as minorities and also offcourse muslims. In Ladhak 90% are Buddists and what they practice is not any way different from Hinduism. It is only Kashmir valley part where you have muslims as majority at about 85%.
But if the people , the majority of them were not against India or government of India as has been propagated by Western media and Pak media.
Even among terrorist groups, there are two or three groups which demand a separte country aligned to India(complete autonomy).
When elections were conducted ,inspite of the terrorits threat that the first person who would go to polling booth would be shot dead was ignored by the daring Kashmir people who stood in queue for long time to cast their vote. In recent elections the entire world media was present.
Kashmir problem has been cooked in Pak, the ingredients supplied by America.
