RE:to all south indians forgetting their own language.
by Subramanian kumar on Apr 05, 2008 01:58 PM

is it a right solution? India was united based on the "Unity in Diversity" policy because many states had their own traditions which survived through several centuries. During independence, all states were united because of noble minds like gandhi and nehru. But today the politicians have changed. they are simply the bhoots and evils for the new india. We all need to be generous in orer to solve this problem while sustaining our own traditions. So the central government must also treat the state governments with respect and make hindi as an optional language rather than enforcing everyone to learn it.
