Boss, like this there are innumerous new path seekers in hinduism. In Kerala also ( where i come from ) there were many. That is the diversity of hinduism and it is its greatness... Finally everybody gets merged with hinduism. Even christians and muslims are first hindus... then only christians and muslims.. remember we had atheists at the time of vedas itself. That is the magnanimity of hinduism..!!! We regard Basavanna as one of our great spiritual leader and respect him to the utmost level. No doubt about that.....
