Hindus always repected other religions including Islam.
India had president/PM, Vice-presidents/CMs as Muslims, sikhs christians, parsis, even today you can see that.
Hindus always respected and honored muslim scholers. nowa days it has become a practice to include one of the name from Muslim comunity, otherwise, why muslims, Hindus only criticises!!
Majorty Hindu country never called officially, its a Hindu country, it has given , more rights (not equal right) to muslims.

In pakistan, Hindus were 24% during 1947. now, just 1%, they are living with fear. In India?..... you know better than me.
