U are right. Kannnadigas beleive they are the most intelligent, tolerent,cultured people in the world and the entire world should speak kannada and follow kannada culture. They beleive that Persons speaking other languages are fools. The South Kanaar districts have develped and prospered because of hard working and tolerent Tulu and Konkani people and not because of the kannadigas.
