I am not excluding the contribution of great minds of India -How ever it is the universality of Islam which made the flow o knowledge from east to west and every where
Arabic was the language of science for 1000 years and thats why books from other languages and other countries got translated to arabic. When there is a center of intellectual activity,it is only natural that this happens!!!
why earth Indian number system has to go through Arabs? why on earth all the so called Greek knowldge has to be translated to arabic and then to Latin? Is Arabia very near to London that Greece?
Why no books were directly translated from sanskrit to chinnese..or sanskrit to greek? It is simple-Arabic was the language of science and thats why it took that route..
