Political games
by Natesh on Apr 02, 2008 10:26 AM

Kannadigas are extremely tolerant and it is the politicians who are inciting hatred. Being an election year and no clear majority of people every party in Karnataka is indulging in such violent activity. Nationalistic feelings always strike a chord in people. There is no issue in Hokenagal project as the river is flowing from Karnataka to TN and not vice versa. Once the river comes to TN the water can be stored and used for irrigation. The karnataka farmers are no way affected. In the case of Alamatti Dam issue Krishna was going from Karnataka to AP and the state was building a dam to maximise the usage of water and hence opposed by AP. In this case only the water that is already shared by Karnataka is used by TN. This is simple cheap political game and violence seems to be the tactic of every party in India now. Raj Thackarey started it not BJP in Karnataka. God save India from disintegrating.
