I don't agree with the words 'perishing Indian middle class'. Indian middle class is growing. Everyone believes this. It is also my personal experience. I was born in a lower middle class family. So were most of my friends and others I know personally. And our incomes have been increasing. And I see that more and more people are now being added into this class called the middle class. The rich are becoming richer, true. Misery of some of the poor people has also increased. But the middle class is definitely not perishing. Columnists are supposed to stick to the truth atleast about the present conditions on ground.
