Karunanidhi betrayed Periyar, when he made sexual accusations against Periyar and then broke away to form the DMK. Why are DMK-lovers pretending that Karunanidhi is a follower of Periyar, when he's not? Karunanidhi only quotes Periyar after the man is dead, but meantime he was a betrayer of him while he was alive. Karunanidhi is a stuntsman and an opportunist.
