You should be pro-India
by Amrit Singh on Sep 24, 2007 12:24 PM

some body is pro-US,pro-Congress anti-left.

Some Body is anti-Us, Anti-Congress, Anti-left and pro-china.

I think you should be pro-India while going for the deal. America is not doing any ehsaan on us by outsourcing. Outsourcing has been much more advantageous to them than us. Even in FDI's the Americans first think of their own profit and then about others. So dont be so pro-america. Which people here are. I have nothing against the deail though. Just that we should be equal partners in this relation. Americans want to dominate our foreign policy as is evident of their voice on India-Iran relations. This is the major thought. Foreign policy independence. We should not live in a gold cage at the goodwill of others. We want to become a super power. A super power is never dependent on anybody for any of the reasons. America is not dependent on or are afraid of anybody for any thing including energy. Same case here. Only caution should be used while going through the deal. Over enthusiasm will result in utter dissapointment.
