Bottom line- Everything on religion is same
by zunil p John on Sep 24, 2007 12:07 PM

As an individual Karunanidhi can believe what ever he wishes , but as a CM he is supposed to respect every one's beliefs.

But the interesting point here is in case of religion , every one is same

1. when some danish cartoonist published some cartoon, some extreme elements in Islam went on to violence in India.
2. When Karunanidhi told something against Ram, extreme elements in Hindu religion burned two innocent bus passengers in Bangalore

And last , the fatwa(Till now i thought that this was a Islamic term) against Karunanidhi, in the same line as for Rushdie and Taslima.

So what is the difference? Nothing. All other philosophy etc are just an eye wash.
In all these, the only clear thing is this. "If you question my faith, I will kill you". The same principle followed by all terrorist outfits

If statements/articles by somebody will affect the divinity of any "so called" Divine personalities, then better not to believe in such divinity.
