actualy tr baalu and thru him karuna will make a lot of money from the dredging contracts if the present alingnment is used so he is crying hoarse and standing on one foot that he wants this alignment. there is a alignment through danushkodi which will shorten the distance by 30km and reduce dredging requirements but will also reduce income for karuna & co they r afraid this will be exposed shortly so now they are posing as if they are agreeable for alternate alingnment
