there is no hatred,patil. hindi was imposed and it was resisted. we dont have to suppress our mother tongues to be a part of one country. it is a fact that when u come to tamilnadu,u will be forced to learn tamil. love of ones language does not mean hating another. it is only when one language is being imposed that there is resisitance. the resistance was in the form of self immolations. the bjp approved the project and the present alignment. it suddenly drags ram into a political matter. another group takes a matter of faith to a court. in this situation,the chief minister was forced to raise the question of rama being imaginary. what else can he do when a project is being stopped by using the name of rama. can u understand the situation? if he hadnt done it,the project would have been stopped. various committees have studied and finalised the project. the educated people have also been fooled . theynaively believe that a project of this magnitude would have been done without a comprehensive project report.
