RE:RE:DMK TRIED TO PROVOKE VIJAYAKANTH RECENTLY..
by kapil das on Sep 23, 2007 08:03 PM

Mr.RATIONALIST,
I had believed right from the start about the futility of the Setusamundaram project. For your better understanding of the futility I suggest you read the column by Swaminathan S. A. Aiyar as written in The Sunday Times 23Sept.
The project will just end up filling the coffers of corrupt govrnment officials and their political masters
The S S project will just be a white elephant in the near future as the sand brought in by the sea currents which originally created them (as seen from a rationalist viewpoint)will just refill the dredging work, nullifying all the expenses.Maintenance dredging will make the canal unfit for use most of the time & since big ships anyway wont be using the shallow canal created so economic viability of the project is also suspect.
Most pathetic thing in this whole fracas is the vitriol poured on the holy name of Sri RAM, whom millions of Hindus worldwide revere & worship as Maryada Purushottam, the most ideal King, husband, son, brother, leader.
Jai Sri RAM,
Dr.Kapil.A.Das
