I seriously doubt if you have lived in Tamil Nadu. Arignar Anna founded DMK after splitting from DK.



There was an election after his death and Kalaignar was elected leader of DMK. Nedunchezhian was the most senior leader then though. Then MGR wanted to maintain Anna's legacy and split to form ADMK (based purely on DMK principles).



Ondre Kulam Oruvane Devan (was Anna's philosophical call when questioned about rationalism, one humanity one God). That was an old nayanmar's comment I believe.



DMK/ADMK are all part of the same family of politics. Only individuals differ.



Next time do some reading or ask some elders before public spouting rubbish.
