If a turk is not a muslim, he does not become a lesser turk. If an Arab is not a muslim he does not become a less Arab and a Persian is still a Persian, even if he is not a muslim. However a Pakistani is very much concerned about Islam, because if he is not a muslim, then............. he becomes an Indian !!!!
