Communist parties-Fighting for their very lives
by Vimal Kumar on Sep 23, 2007 12:24 PM

The closer India gets to the US, the more the chances of the Communist parties being decimated from the country.
Communism has proved to be a failure in the former Soviet Union, and exists only due to suppression and victimisation of a vast majority in China. It has no place in a democratic set up. It survives in India in West Bengal and Kerala by means of suppression, domination, victimisation, marketing and propaganda. In Kerala, they have 3 channels-Kairali, We and People.
Let them stop their rhetoric that the only reason they are opposing the deal is because India's national interests are affected, and admit their concern that communist & marxist values will be eroded if India gets closer to the US.
