RE:Karuna is sending flowers to VHP

How can you equate a constitutional position CM with a local goonda? If Modi or Advani issue threats it will justify the arrongance of DMK. That not being the case,a CM is supposed to behave in a responsible manner and not incite communal passion. Kalaignar is a good literary writer and is adept at tapping minority and atheist votes. But ADMK has highest number of opposition MLAs in the history of TN and DMK has been unable to create defections. So there is no real threat to Jaya.

For BJP the Ramar Palam is too far away from areas (Cow-belt) where communal issues can turn into votes. And in any case while hindus will stand divided as always, it will only help in muslim votes consolidation. So for BJP it is hardly a winning formula! But it is a golden chance for DMK and CPM to strengthen their anti-hindu votes in TN, WB and KL. Time and again it has been proven that anti-hindu votes muslim Christian votes is more dependable than the so called pro-hindu vote.
