It actually does not matter if Ram existed or not. If you hold a set of qualities as ideal and if it inspires you that is good enough. If millions of people hold the same idol as inspiration, even better. Forget the BJP. If some one disagrees with you, you will try to convince the person and if he still does not change, you will leave him alone and go your way. But many parties like DMK are bent on insulting people just because they think that Ram is an inspiration to them!! Who are they inspired by ??
Now MK says that he is simply interested in the project - if it can be made without disturbing Ram Sethu it is OK with him! Why can he not begin with this statement?? The problem would have been solved. This project was approved by BJP government !! There are several environmental concerns against this project. Many details need to be worked out. A project of this size always will put somebody under disadvantage and they have to be taken care of.
