Yes. He is our God. And He is not only ours, but your God also. The only difference is you have become forgetful of him and we have not. What to speak of us, He is the God of animals, plants, mountains, rivers... He is the God of entire cosmic manifestation. WHY? You talk about 16000 wives? ha ha .. He is the Supreme husband of everyone., what to speak of 16000. You take it like this because you are under material conception of life.
Krishna's body is not made of bile, mucus, bones like us. He is sac-cid-ananda. He is eternal, unborn, adi-purusa. He is the supersoul, and whatever living entities we see around are His part and parcels. We are all sould, we are also eternal but because we are in material world, we have to change bodies which is called birth and death transition. But our real position is that of an eternal life with Krishna in the spiritual kindom where there is no birth and death. When we achieve that stage through bhakti, it is called liberation. Those 16000 wives were great sages in their past life who did tapasya for hundreds of years. They desired Lord as their husband in their next birth and Lord fulfilled their desire. Each queen of Krishna had each palalce so total 16000 palaces. Lord expanded Himself as 16000 and was present in each palace in His original form at the same time. Can you do this? Can you expand yourself to 16000? This is difference between us and God.
