i guess the real issue is there was no transparency to how the SethuSamudran project was initiated and is being handled.
more then worry about whether the bridge was created by Ram, the question to ponder is if the bridge is man-made. and if it is, how old is it? after all they did find a sunken city off the coast of Gujarat fitting the timeline of the mythological city of Dwarka.
and if the bridge is not man-made, then we should look into the environmental impacts of destroying the bridge.
also the full SethuSamudran project is conceived to increase traffic to the Tuticorin port. my question is if today the traffic through Tuticorin port is low, should we even have a port there?
and how much revenue is the ship traffic expected to raise? surely it cannot be more then what our corrupt politicians use to lien their coffers. :)
