Ramayana is an epic & not a history. This has been said number of times, not by the Christians but by Indian scholars. Many believe that Ramayana was composed for the great Pharo Ramases of Egypt.
Many historian agree that Ramayana is a fiction. All of these historians are Hindus.
Rama's credentials as a Maryada Purushottam were questioned by many, all Hindus again!
EVR Ramaswamy Periyar hit out at Ramayana most vociferously. In literature, many Marathi, Bengali & Tamil writers have portrayed the ugly side of Rama's character. All these writers are Hindus.
Then why this wrath on Cristians? Have Hindus lost even their rudimentary common sense?
