i think u have'nt understood what i mean. I said the souls of Gods are the Master and Self of all beings and the omnipresent Brahman. They know their true nature of Self.That is why we worship Vishnu,Shiva .Now rope is also God as per Hinduism, (Advaita) but u do not gain anything by worshipping it. Now Mantradheenantu Daiwatam. That means when a great seer chants mantras and ask God to be present in an object, like a stone or wood it becomes an idol and is worth worship. A statue of Krishna is not an idol. but a stone like salagrama shila is Vishnu. About SHIVA: Krishna Yajur Veda the module Sree Rudram, 10th Anuvaka says, Yatey Rudra "Shiva" Tanu "Shiva Viswaha bheshajee" Shiva Rudrasya Bheshajee Tayano mrida jeevase 8th Anuvaka: Namah Shivayacha Shivatarayacha... So Shiva is in Vedas.. I donot know what u mean by saying Shiv not a Hindu God???
