JAI HIND
by iluvtaj on Sep 15, 2007 09:49 PM

for some people who cant say JAI HIND

Jai Hind is a salutation most commonly used in India in speeches and communications pertaining to or referring to patriotism towards India (also known as Hind).

It means roughly "Victory to India" or "Long live India".

The Indian freedom fighter Dr.Champakaraman Pillai, introduced the salutation. It has since captured the imagination of Indians and has been immortalised by Subhash Chandra Bose as the battlecry of the Indian National Army.

IT IS NOT RELIGIOUS
