People have mentioned Christ and Mohammed. Well, they were historical characters, just like Buddha and Mahavira, but all myths circulating about them are not historically true. You don%u2019t have to believe the jataka tales literally to be a god Buddhist. And if I believed that there was actually some one called Hanuman who could jump across the Pak straits i would need to get my head examined, right? 5. Some have also mentioned about the Delhi Metro route being skirted round the Kutab Minar. So what? Kutab Minar is a historically documented heritage site. Actually just a handful of Hindus knew of Ramsetu until the NASA photo came along. So it is not even a venerated Hindu place of faith. It is the BJP which is raising the issue for political one-up-man-ship, even though it is the NDA government that had initiated the Ram Setu Project.
