The question which was asked about the existiance of Lord is not acceptable by any chance and that person should be funished. I understand building this cannel will reduce the travel distance. This will definately benifit other countries more than India. I request the government to take up the projects like linking river, rain water harvesting, fast lane rails, better medical systems, generating more power, building better roads inside the city which can save fuel etc...rather than making some idiotic coments and getting beaten by the public. I appreciate the governemnt for their economic reforms. But let me assure you, you are hurting the sentiments of crores of hindus and you will get capital funsihment for this.
