dear u can never impliment rationality in life. I am sure even u may not exercise in your personal life. Any govt has to respect the sentiments of its people. Even democratic countries like US and UK, wont do it. In fact, this barrie have always extended indian maritime territory beyond SriLanka and has strategic importance.Again, the cnala is not as significant as Suez and Panama.
