You will never get evidence unless you genuinely look for it and look for it at the right places. this will require a big effort involving multiple departments , NGO's, political will ,funding , recruiting scholars and having good scientic equipments. without such an effort, any conclusion will just be a covert decision of the CPI/CPM politburo !
