APATHY OF THE CENTRE
by vidhu marar on Sep 12, 2007 06:08 PM

I am feeling pitiful of our centre and the people who govern it. The so called centre is least bothered about the existence of Ram Sethu or whatever that is called, they are concerned to build the bridge at any cost even if it means hurting the sentiments of the Hindus or for that matter any caste, as rightly said if this would have been the matter with some other caste, hell would have broken loose and God knows what mayhem would have ben created. The centre wants to build a bridge between Sri- Lanka and Rameshwaram so that the ministers involved can "make hay while the sun shines". Where is the country going to? Few days back a discussion board carried a message doubting the patriotism of Sachin Tendulkar, now where is the Patriotism of our so called leaders leading the country? I am not arguing about the evidence or non-availability of it, but what about the emotions and sentiments of the majority of the people staying in this country? Are we supposed to forgo all this just to satisfy the "needs" of our political leaders supported by some mentally ill or deficient bureaucrat (Mr. Dorjee or whatever his name is!!) Where has all the humane attachments and values gone? God save my country and its brethens from the clutches of our greedy and heartless leaders.
