It is pure luck that u are alive and your husband has all his legs.
In my state, there is a dist with Muslims 90%. There a reverse story happened a Muslim boy married a hindu middle-caste girl, and he did not convert her. For that muslim community including his parents took his two legs. But still they did not change their stance. Now the wife works and the family survives. They have 2 kids, one male and a female. Both respect both religions.
But all these are rare... So I guess either you live in USA/Europe or God has showered immense grace on you and your family.
By the by, I am an extreme Islam-hater, because I have never seen an Islam that agrees that each person has the right to see/worship the GOd in his own way without converting or targetting others. Also they resort to violence in all possible ways.
So I am determined to use my discrimination and oppose Islam as a community in whichever possible irrespective of the fact that I have some very good nice muslim friends. The fact is they cant guaranttee that my generations will survive Muslim threat as a hindooo-the-spineless.
Anyway thanks for your courage and woman like you are needed in Islam, irrespective of whether i hate it or not
