Orissa was a cast less society.Cast enters to the state only on 1850 by britishers. You will surprise to know that the state lord Jagannatha has been worshiped till today by STS.Then maharaja of orissa given them brahmin status. The famous orya bhagabata and ramayan has been written by sarala das who is SC.In many temples including Jagannatha teplle at puri brahmin people worshipped the non brahmins as they worship the lord of temple.Cast less oriya society --zindabad. Fish is considered to be "very good luck" inthose areas. After 11th day of any bodies death and at the time of marriage people eat nonvedge thinking that they will be luckey.
ORISS CULTURE ---JAGANNATHA CULTURE-CASTLESS SOCIETY. Only politicians want to destroy it
