You are right, I had a good friend from Jordan, he was a moderate muslim. Arabs don't really treat Muslims from South Asia as real practsing muslims. In fact this Jordaian friend said that he had seen in the mosques in US, who he feels closely follow culture similar to Hindus. For e.g. he said that Indian muslims wear saris, not covering their head which he said was totally unislamic
