Such statements, so typical of Karunanidhi are yet another indication of his hopeless incompetency. The straightforward solution to inter-state disputes is to collect correct data on both sides, discuss with the experts in that field, formulate a strategy and line of argument and have a face-to-face discussion with the counterparts of the other state. He can never get the facts right as it was he who introduced corruption in the state. There are very few experts accessible as his reservation policy and hatred of certain communities has alienated a lot of people who could have added value. A lot of knowledge that would have been passed down from one generation to the next has been lost.
