Media was not strong in 1984. We even didn't had our doordarshan for 24 hours. Also, you want the media to focus on 1984 killings which is difficult to investigate and when gujrat criminals who caught red handed are holding high profile posts.
When somebody kills your parents then when somebody should question like please resolve the other case before even booking your parents case.
