Your argument does not hold water. Thorium technology if independently developed is around 20 years away, and Uranium if you don't mind do a search it will let you know the current mine(product quality) and the uranium deposits in Karnataka and Meghalaya are out of reach due to stupid politics in that case how do you satisfy the energy requirement?
