Any deal envisages something which we should be prepared to lose in order to gain something, that is the art of negotiation. Of course we should not compromise on key points and we have not compromised on the keypoints on this deal. US is pretty much breaking up NPT in this deal ? Don't you think they are compromising too ? It is a win-win situation for both India and US. Do you want a free lunch ?
