Nehru has betrayed the Non-Muslims of East Pakistan.
by Dipak Bose on Oct 30, 2007 09:02 AM

Nehru-Liaqat Ali Pact declared that non-Muslim refugees from East Pakistan are not refugees and they can go back to Pakistan to reclaim their property. These refugees then put into transit camps and were not allowed to exchange their properties with the Muslims in India, received only Rs.50 per month per family, and nothing else.
This is what Nehru did.
What has happened to the non-Muslims in Pakistan.
In West Pakistan they hardly exist. In East Pakistan as well, they were reduced from 32 percent to less than 8; millions of them were killed. In 1970-71 at least 3 millions of Hindus were killed in East Pakistan. Their properties were decalared as enemy property even by the Bangladesh government.
