Global trade talks
by MSAT on Oct 29, 2007 11:05 AM

The reporter says in the Sixth paragraph that Vivek Bharti is India's foremost expert on World Trade Organisation talks. What bullshit!! I have worked with this man a few years ago, and have never seen a more vain, self centered and vacuous individual. More to the point, Bharti has no original ideas on global trade, all he does is cut paste the views of numerous others and presents them. To my mind, some of India's greatest experts and original thinkers on global trade are Bibek Debroy, Swaminathan Aiyar and S Ganesan, Finance Minister P Chidambaram, BJP's Arun Jaitley and to some extent Ila Patnaik, although she is more of an economist. Debroy is probably the most brilliant of them all. Bharti is an intellectual cretin compared with these people. To even call him an expert is a gross insult to other original Indian thinkers.
