RE:PRESIDENT RULE BEST OPTION
by Varun Kumar on Oct 29, 2007 01:22 PM

No president's rule is not a good option. In a democratic country president will have no powers to bring new projects for infrastructure or can not release funds for any social welfare. Under president%u2019s rule governor who will be assume the power would only be allowed to maintain and mange the existing projects. This situation can only continue for 6 months max and after that elections will have to be called.

The best solution to this problem is with us only, we are the voters. We decide who should rule us. Let%u2019s give a single party with full majority and allow them to rule for complete 5 years. But which party that should be is the tough choice. So I have a suggestion. We should demand each of the party to release there agenda for the next five years and the projects what and how they want to improve the state. We should choose the best among them and vote them to give full majority in turn full power to take decisions independently and server the voters. If they fail next election we should not give a single vote to that party.

I know this is too ambitious thought.. I wish if works out..
