Sandipan I would like to correct you on one point.. Yes CPIM enjoys support from a section of the society and no point denying that.. there are people who condemn CPIM and also dont support CPIM for certain acts but still vote for left for the very reason that credibility of mamata bannerjee is even worse..
Also there is one point the vote division between mamata and congress also has a roll to play. However in the last assembly elections the left vote share was greater than all the TMC Congress BJP combined. So still the left enjoyed more support than their opposition..
