Present-day Congress and Politics
by Kamal Prabha on Oct 28, 2007 10:20 AM

By all records it is the mischief of the Congress Party right from the day one when Chaturvedi's term got expired.Seeing the fractured position where they came third in the election it was expected that they would appoit a partyman for the Gov-ship as they did for the President.Qualification, suitability hardly matters when it comes to raw politics where scruples do not count and only power matters.
Remember Goa and the oft claimed slogan
"just to keep BJP out".They wont mind
likes of Laloo's,Shahbuddin's,Taslimuddin's and the latest Fatmi's.Do they not get elected democratically unlike what used to happen in Bihar till a Mr Rao was sent to supervise with a dewastating result for RJD? Is BJP a banned party? Can a Labour Party say a similar thing about its opposition Party in UK? To perpetuate a "foreign/dynastic rule" just because of a mis-understood and mis-spelt surname?
It is for the people to ponder as to why they tolerate but do not revolt.
