I thought India was meant to be a developing country?

I can't believe a 'Demonstration against Domestic Violence' is sanctioned let alone given credibility in India. It is both sexist and intrinsically fascist in orientation, and bares similarity with the Taliban than any rational form of democratic government.I am English and am disgusted to share a Common Wealth with a country that is prepared to turn a blind eye against instituationalised violations of women's human rights
