You dont need Tehelka for knowing who were behind these carnage. A simple impartial investigation is sufficient. Tehelka at this juncture was brought in to serve some selected interests of some parties.
One wonders why Tehelka could not conduct a similar expose about 84 riots.
If in Gujarat the then CM was culpable and the GOvt in the centre (PM & HM) were mute spectators, in 84 riots the then PM should be responsible for the carnage. In Delhi, with Army at their diposal and with the Delhi state not yet formed and also the fact that the carnage started after 48 hours of the assassination why the then PM and his govt and the entire machinery kept quiet?
If an Indian Army can defend its borders from other trained armies they can very well engage the rioters.
The biggest blots on India are Gujarat riots and 84 riots and not many like to believe Operation Bluestar or Babri Masjid demolition. Parties with vested interests always quote the latter ahead of the former for gaining political mileage.
