What Govt?
by Bodh Ramdeo on Oct 25, 2007 08:20 PM

Indians are sen wishy-washy, shilly-shally, flippy-floppy nobodies by the rest world, and that's why no one the world over has ever taken India seriously, not even when that pompous though 'charismatic' idiot Nehru was PM. Why? Becuase poor India has never had someone who could remotely be caaled a real 'leader', other than maybe, Gandhi, and thank goodness he was out of the picture before he could really do some real damage, if such is possible, given Congress' abysmal performance.
Even today, in a globalized economy and internet access, ask anyone around the globe to name the Indian PM, and they'll scratch their heads, eyes glazed over, looking dumbfounded, going uuhh, uuuhhh..Then ask them to name the big guy in China and they'll rattle off Deng Jiamin, or something of the sort. Heck, India's weak Parliament and her meek, weakling of a PM, can't even pass any legislation which does not meet with Communist approval, except anything giving Govt more control over the economy, which is their pet peeve. What India desperately needs is effective governance, but first she must have a Govt!
Anyone seen a govt lying around somewhere?
