it amazing to me that indian people see things in black and white. is it so hard for you figure that congress has closed all doors of co-operation with the bjp? congressi have been badmouthing and cussing bjp every opportunity it gets. mm singh's tirade on gujarat was only the latest. can you get yourself to understand that the ruling party is congress, the party at the helm for this nuke deal badly negotiated. thus, it is the duty of congress to marshal support for the deal, and approach the members of parliament. how do you think bill clinton gotos his programs thr' u.s. house of reps and the senate? he called every member of the house. he did not call republicans racist, did he, unlike the congressis who call bjp communalists? know this: bjp is far less communal than the republicans are racists, and yet democrat hardly ever bring up race card - hell, even the balck democrat don't do that except when obvious.
the other thing is bjp's oppostion is very well articulated. it started the process and it knows where congressis failed to negotiate right. face it, the congressi can't negotiate even when the bjp handed it to them on a platter. my comment stands.
