Factually incorrect
by Vaibhav Pradhan on Oct 25, 2007 09:13 PM

"For Dr Manmohan Singh [Images], credited with rescuing India from the economic doldrums"

This is factually incorrect as it was late PM Narasimha Rao who should get credit for rescuing India from economic doldrums. Cabinet minister is responsible for PM and unless there is backing and support of PM, finance minister can't do much. So, it was because of PV's active backing and support that MM could do what he did. So, credit goes to PV and NOT MM.

As history has proved, MM can't do much on its own and he is a born beurocrat and not a politician who can lead the nation.
