Sam ... do you realise that wars today are bound to be short and swift like a 20-20 game. No general has patience for a long war - and they know that gains have to be achieved quickly before international intervention happens. For good money - anything can be bought.
And if you are fighting insurgency - then probably you are not talking of hi-tech weaponary alone but more on training. or for that matter a quagmire like Iraq .
