Proud moment for resident Indians????
by Lion on Oct 21, 2007 07:47 PM

I agree that this is no moment to be proud for resident Indians. If that is the case, then India and Pakistan should be the proudest countries in the world as two People who are native of these countries have acquired the highest office (President and Prime minister) in the other country. Guys we have to understand that where you are born or hail from (Janm Bhumi) does not matter, it is where you work, who you work for and where you contribute (Karm Bhumi) that matters most. However, it may be a matter of pride for all NRIs. As far as featuring of this article on rediff goes, well that%u2019s their business. Something unusual (to some extent) has happened in some part of the world and they have just reported it and opened a forum for opinion for us all thru blogs%u2026that%u2019s their business. If rediff does not feature these happenings they are going to loose their pie as people will go to other websites to read the news. No matter how many of here say that this is useless news, but all of us still want to read it so that we can comment on it (if not on rediff then on some other website).
