I agree with what you say Shruti. I have had Muslim friends, colleagues and employees as well as Hindu ones. It seemed to be a bonus because we got a variety of cultural backgrounds to make our life more colorful.
Wherever we see violence,racism and arguments in the name of religion, it is incited by a minority with vested interests.
Common people, whether Hindus or Muslims, do not have anything against each other, they are too busy with their lives to care.
It is a small but very vocal and active part of the Muslim religion that voices all the thoughts about the superiority of Islam, thus giving a basically tolerant relion a bad name.
Religion becomes a political weapon in the hands of the selfish and the powerful.
I guess in time people would begin to realize the truth.
In the meanwhile, there are already plenty of Muslims, Hindus and Christians staying amicably everywhere all across the world.
